About Us

Orphans and Vulnerable Children Social Protection Project
We are the HIV/AIDS Orphans and Vulnerable Children Social Protection Project, a USAID/India funded project focused to increase access to priority health, education, social protection and welfare services for orphans and vulnerable children and children affected by HIV/AIDS in India.  There are many factors that currently deter or prevent children affected by HIV/AIDS benefiting from essential health care and other social welfare services provided under the Government of India schemes.

Our objectives
  • To identify and profile girls and boys living with HIV, to ensure linkage to  quality and timely treatment, care and support in order to prolong and sustain quality of life.
  • To increase access and utilization to priority health, education, social  protection and welfare services, by children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS and  their families.
  • To strengthen inter-sector collaboration between various government departments to ensure that orphans and vulnerable children are provided with all essential services.
